Greetings! Apparently, it is now officially Spring in the UK. I am certainly enjoying the purple crocuses coming up in the local park. Like a royal cloak laid out on the ground!

2 weeks ago, on the 21st of February, International Mother Language Day, we launched the 75th anniversary edition of Ethnologue! It was my first edition as Managing Editor and so I felt quite the weight of responsibility, but it all went off well. It is a joy to work in an efficient and capable team. You can check out the web version here

Tim had some unexpected changes to his travel arrangements this month. He ended up with a quick trip to North America that was unexpected. But it went extremely well, and he was able to make some great connections and meet with some key people.

The other disruption was a cancelled trip. He was supposed to support the logistics for a gathering in the Middle East that he was preparing to head out for this past Sunday. Given what kicked off on Saturday, that trip was cancelled. Because of Tim’s role as security consultant, he has been very busy this week with a lot of information gathering and decision making, advising, not least about the meetings that had to be cancelled.

Dan struggled a bit post exams with illness but seems to be back on track now.

Thank you all for your prayers and support. Do let us know your news and how we can pray for you.

Praise

Tim was still at home when the situation in the Middle East deteriorated

Successful launch of the next edition of Ethnologue

Successful trip to North America for Tim

Prayer

Wisdom and peace for Tim as he deals with the consequences of the situation in the Middle East

For Dan to thrive in this second semester at Uni.
